Deployment requires no end user training, zero installation of client software due to client browser access and zero supplementary plug-in or applet requirements 

Information can be presented in different formats on demand offering flexibility and choice to the end user. These formats can be:
Dynamic HTML (DHTML) – for online interactive content
To a Printer via PDF – for high definition hard copy
XML output – for interfacing data and offline analysis

Ability to be customized to present the corporate look and feel of existing website making it impossible for the user to distinguish the EBPP elements from other areas of the site

Report Caching capability enables running e.Billing reports at a pre-determined time (like overnight) and then hold this report in cached memory.  When a customer requests a view of their bill, they are viewing a cached report. This is particularly important when the size of the user base gets larger and the size of the bill gets larger.

Ability to deliver page level security to the customers. Page Level Security allows you to deliver personalized views of information to thousands of users without the database and administrative overhead of having to create and manage thousands of documents.

Ability to access multiple data source enabling you to consolidate all of your data assets irrespective of the underlying data platform 

On demand paging enables quick retrieval and display of desired information - for instance, the bill that the Chief Financial Officer accesses can be hundreds or even thousands of pages in size. The CFO might wish to view subsets of the bill, or step through, from page 1 to page 700

Provides PDF, HTML, DHTML, CSV, TSV output out of the box for presentation and also supports email notification. For SMS, EBPP application pushes the required summary information to a SMS utility, which then sends the required messages.
